Chi-Town Hosts League 7s
The inaugural summer of Rugby League continued in the Midwest at the weekend with a League Sevens tournament in Chicago.
Four teams lined up to compete Sunday night at Winnemac Park in the windy city.
The Chicago Stockyarders hosted the Western Storm, Irish Exiles and Lewis University in the four-team event.
There were two preliminary matches with the winners advancing to the final, while the losers from those contests played off for third and fourth places.
The Irish Exiles won the tournament with a one try to none decision against the Chicago Stockyarders in the final.
